CJC-1295 without DAC — more accurately Modified GRF 1-29 — is a synthetic 29-residue analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone. It retains the receptor-binding 1–29 region of GHRH but swaps four amino acids, at positions 2, 8, 15 and 27, to counter its main breakdown pathways: N-terminal cleavage by dipeptidyl peptidase-4, deamidation of asparagine and oxidation of methionine.

“No DAC” sets it apart from the drug-affinity-complex version. Lacking the maleimide linker that anchors the peptide to serum albumin, it is eliminated much faster — and that is exactly why labs pick it: short exposure lets them study pulsatile GHRH receptor signalling instead of constant occupancy.
