## Description

This kit contains the two things a lab needs to turn freeze-dried peptide into a solution for spray studies: an empty, sterile 15 mL bottle topped with a pump that meters out a fine mist, and a separate bottle of buffered, preserved diluent made for sprays. No active peptide is included — you add peptides bought separately — and the bottles and pumps are the same ones we use for our ready-filled Semax and Selank sprays.

The diluent is the key difference from simply using bacteriostatic water. It is sterile, buffered to a set pH, matched to body fluids in tonicity and preserved, so that a peptide stays in solution for the length of a study and sprays as a fine mist. Bacteriostatic water, in contrast, has no buffer and is hypotonic, leaving pH and tonicity to whatever the peptide makes of them. Pumps of this type typically deliver around 0.1 mL per press, so a 15 mL bottle filled to the top provides well over a hundred sprays — check by weighing wherever your results depend on it. Sold individually or in threes, with blank labels for writing the peptide, its concentration and the date it was made up.

### Is any peptide included?

No — only the hardware and the liquid: an empty sterile 15 mL spray bottle with metering pump, plus a bottle of buffered diluent designed for it. Peptides such as Semax or Selank are ordered separately and made up in the bottle in your lab.

### How does the diluent differ from bacteriostatic water?

Our spray diluent is sterile, buffered, isotonic and preserved, formulated for liquids that will be dispensed through a pump. Bacteriostatic water is simply water with benzyl alcohol — no buffer, and hypotonic. Both will dissolve a peptide, but the buffered diluent keeps a spray solution in better condition over a study.

### How many sprays does a 15 mL bottle give?

It depends on how much the pump delivers each time and on how much solution you make up. Fine-mist pumps like this one usually give about 0.1 mL per spray, so a completely filled 15 mL bottle provides more than a hundred sprays. Weigh a few sprays to find your actual figure.

### Which peptides can I prepare with it?

Typical uses are research peptides studied as sprays — Semax, Selank, oxytocin, PT-141 or NAD+ — and our ready-mixed Selank/Semax vials. In principle, any freeze-dried peptide that remains stable in a buffered water solution can be prepared this way; check the product's COA for advice on solvents.

### What documentation comes with the kit?

The spray bottles are sterile and individually sealed, and the diluent bears a lot number and expiry date. With no peptide inside, HPLC purity is irrelevant; documents for the diluent lot are available on request.
