## Description

Semax is a synthetic seven-residue peptide based on the ACTH(4-7) fragment, extended with a C-terminal Pro-Gly-Pro that increases stability. Selank uses the same Pro-Gly-Pro approach but starts from tuftsin, a tetrapeptide from the heavy chain of immunoglobulin G. Both originated at the Russian Academy of Sciences and are described mostly in Russian-language publications. Dihexa has no structural relationship to them: it is a small molecule derived from angiotensin IV — N-hexanoic-Tyr-Ile-(6)aminohexanoic amide — researched in connection with hepatocyte growth factor and its receptor, c-Met.

Every vial has its own lot number, its own HPLC assay at ≥99% purity and its own certificate of analysis. Keeping them unmixed lets you run separate concentration ranges, single-compound controls and staggered exposure over the course of a study.
