## Description

Pinealon is Glu-Asp-Arg (EDR), a short bioregulator peptide from Vladimir Khavinson's research on tissue-specific peptides, where it is associated with the brain and the pineal gland. This version is already dissolved and filled into a brown glass bottle whose pump releases a set amount into the nose — 15 mL or 30 mL — made from peptide of ≥99% HPLC purity, with a certificate for each lot.

With only three amino acids and a mass of about 418 g/mol, EDR is tiny even for a peptide. Publications from Khavinson's school propose that such short peptides act directly on DNA and on the packing of chromatin to change which genes are active; that group's studies in rodents and cells have examined whether neurons survive lack of oxygen and oxidative damage, how ageing animals perform in behavioural tests, and markers of protein production in nerve tissue.
