Your use of this site, and every order you place on it, is subject to these terms.

Eligibility to order
Only persons aged 18 or over may place orders, and only when acting in a professional or institutional capacity — for instance for a laboratory, university, research organisation or registered business — and for laboratory research purposes. Placing an order confirms that you meet this description.
We may request proof of eligibility, such as details of your institution or a VAT ID, and we may, at our discretion, refuse or cancel any order — including where we are not satisfied about the buyer's eligibility or intended use. Orders for prescription reference listings undergo additional verification before they can be accepted.
Research use only
All products offered on this site are research chemicals supplied solely for in-vitro laboratory research and development — that is, work performed outside a living organism, in test tubes, cell cultures or other controlled laboratory settings.
- Not for use in humans or animals. The products are not medicinal products within the meaning of Directive 2001/83/EC and no medicines agency has authorised them. Nor are they foods, food supplements, cosmetics or medical devices. They must not be swallowed, injected, applied to the body or introduced into humans or animals in any other way.
- No medical claims, no medical advice. Nothing on this site asserts that a product can diagnose, treat, cure, alleviate or prevent any disease; product descriptions summarise published research purely to identify the material. We do not supply dosing guidance or protocols for use in humans, and our staff will turn down any request for them.
- Handling and safety. Use suitable personal protective equipment when handling products, follow good laboratory practice, your institution's safety rules and any relevant safety data sheet, and store and dispose of products in accordance with local regulations.
- Legal compliance. It is your responsibility to make sure that purchasing, importing, holding and using a product is lawful in your jurisdiction and permitted by your institution. Certain substances are subject to national controls in some member states or are on the World Anti-Doping Agency's prohibited list.
- Resale. Products may be resold for research purposes only, and resellers must place equivalent obligations on their own customers.
Every buyer confirms at checkout that the products are bought for laboratory research use only; we do not accept orders without that confirmation. After delivery you alone are responsible for how products are handled, used and disposed of, and you agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses and costs resulting from use that breaches these terms, including administration to humans or animals.
Orders and prices
An order submitted on this site is an offer to purchase; it is not yet a binding contract. The contract comes into existence only once we have confirmed the order and sent an invoice. We take no payment at checkout.
Prices are stated in euros (EUR) and do not include shipping; the invoice confirms shipping costs and VAT. VAT is applied according to EU VAT rules — if you provide a valid VAT ID from another member state, verified through VIES, intra-community supplies may be invoiced under the reverse-charge mechanism. You can pay by SEPA bank transfer or via a crypto payment invoice; payment terms: [TODO: client — payment due date, e.g. within 7 days of the invoice]. We dispatch goods after receiving payment, and they remain our property until the invoice is paid in full.
We work carefully to keep prices and stock levels correct. If an obvious mistake occurs, we may correct it and let you choose between continuing at the corrected price and cancelling at no cost.
Documents
Each catalogue peptide is released with a certificate of analysis whose lot number corresponds to the one on the vial label. The specifications on product pages set out the standard a lot has to meet before release; the certificate records what was measured for the lot you actually receive.
You can request certificates before or after ordering. If a lot number cannot be matched to its documents, tell us and we will replace the material.
Delivery and risk
Delivery times we give are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you once the carrier delivers them. Any claim for transit damage must be made within seven days of the delivery date recorded by the carrier and accompanied by photographs, as described in our shipping policy. Returns are handled under our refund and returns policy.
For shipments to destinations outside the EU, you act as importer of record and are responsible for duties, taxes and compliance with local import regulations.
Liability
We warrant that, when dispatched, the material we supply meets the specification stated on its certificate of analysis. This warranty is all we promise regarding the goods; to the maximum extent permitted by law, every other warranty, whether express or implied, is excluded.
Our total liability in connection with any order cannot exceed what you paid for the material concerned. We accept no liability for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost research time, ruined experiments or loss of profit. Nothing in these terms restricts liability that the law does not allow to be restricted — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or under mandatory product-liability legislation.
