Two peptides that lead separate strands of gastrointestinal research are combined in this capsule. Every unit holds 500 micrograms of BPC-157 — the 15-residue fragment of a gastric protective protein — and 500 micrograms of KPV, the C-terminal tripeptide of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone. Choose bottles of 30 or 60 capsules.
The combination is deliberate. BPC-157 research focuses on mucosal repair and angiogenic signalling models; KPV is investigated for suppression of nuclear factor kappa B and for its effects on cytokine release. Each also has its own argument for oral delivery: BPC-157 is described as remarkably acid-resistant for its size, and KPV is known to be taken up by the PepT1 transporter of the intestinal lining. For both peptides, the route fits the target tissue.
We synthesise each peptide and purify it by reversed-phase HPLC to ≥99% on its own before blending and filling, so the certificate of analysis lists the two components separately rather than as a single mixture.
